POSITION: EHS HOME BASED TEACHER

The applicant must possess the ability to plan and implement weekly home visits that are based on the individual needs of the children. The applicant will be responsible for completing weekly home visits, (which will consist of traveling in the Pemiscot and Dunklin county areas) family referrals, screenings and assessments, and socializations. The applicant must communicate effectively to provide comprehensive program services to the families in the Early Head Start Home Base Program.

 The applicant must have a current CDA certificate in Infant/Toddler or be willing to obtain within one year of hire; or an Associate’s (AA) degree in Early Childhood/Child Development with Early Childhood education courses preferred. A current driver’s license valid in Missouri, transportation and insurance are required. Bilingual applicants are highly (Spanish/English) considered.
