Job Title: Outreach Coordinator

FLSA Status: FT Hourly; Monday - Thursday

Summary:  Ensures all daily operations function smoothly within the county office and all available services are provided to clients as needed. Supervises outreach office employees on a daily basis. These duties are completed by performing the following duties personally and/or through the county employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Ensures the smooth operation of the outreach office on a daily basis including the coordination of workload, attendance of employees, upkeep of office and supplies and maintenance of equipment.

Ensures office safety is maintained and work orders/requisitions are submitted as necessary to maintain operation of office.

Ensures clients receive quality services and the outreach office’s goals and objectives in serving clients are met.

Monitors office to ensure clients are served as quickly and efficiently as possible and resolves issues with irate/angry clients.

Coordinates with other agencies in gathering resources for clients within that service area.

Attends local, state, regional and national training/meetings as necessary and is actively involved in MO CAN.

Ensures all FDA and CRD projects are completed annually as scheduled.

Provides for and ensures cohesion and teamwork within the outreach office.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervises outreach office staff. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these people. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience:

Associate’s degree (A. A.) in Social Services or a related field; with 4 to 5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software as well as the Community Action IA software and Google Programs.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Must have a Missouri driver's license (or equivalent).
