    DAEOC is currently seeking a Special Needs Coordinator who has the ability to empathize and understand the needs of our special needs student population in our 6 county service area. The Special Needs Coordinator will ensure that pre-school students receive the required special education and related services that they need.

    The successful candidate will serve as a liaison between DAEOC's Head Start program, Public School Ed Programs, student families and appropriate diagnosticians. The coordinator will assist in training employees in treatment plans and may be responsible for presenting material to groups of professionals.

    Minimum of an Associate’s degree (A.A.) in a related field is required. Special Education experience is preferred. Must have a valid Missouri Driver's License and reliable transportation.
